Pretty in THE Ring

July 9, 2011
THE Ring

She wears one of the most iconic pieces of jewelry in the world (lucky lady, err… Duchess), aka THE ring. A true beauty designed by Gerrard Jewelers, it is an 8-carat Celyon sapphire surrounded by 14 diamonds set in 18 kt white gold. Historically, Prince Harry selected this ring as a keepsake reminder of his mother, the also iconic Diana, Princess of Wales. However, when Prince William decided to propose to Kate, it was Harry who insisted that she be given this ring as reminder of their mother (le sigh).

And now PiK readers, the fabulous QVC has an exact replica of this iconic ring. There are many, many copies and imitations of THE ring; however, you will not find one with the exact detail, size and bling quality of this replica. A steal at just under $55.00 US, you can feel (and look) like a true Princess (or Duchess). Also featured below is a photo of the ring which my husband (via moi) purchased from QVC. And while you’re on their website, be sure to check out Royal Family insider Kenneth Jay Lane’s “A Royal Affair” collection. Delicious for both you and your budget!

Hi, can you tell me what are the measurments of the ring? Width and length in total?
    Thank you, Ania 🙂

Hi Ania! Are you asking the measurements of THE ring, or the QVC version? Happy to answer 🙂

Hi Heather, both if you know the answer, if not then only the QVC version 🙂

Anna – I Googled in vain for the answer for both rings but to no avail! All information just gave the carat weight of the sapphire & diamonds. My apologies!

Hi, so which version do you have?? I thought yours were from QVC and you will be able to measure it yourself, or maybe I didn’t understand something….
